Romanian MD63 AKM built from an original 1984 Cugir military parts kit with matching serial-numbered components. Rebuilt as a semi-auto rifle using a ReCreator Blanks receiver and U.S.-made chrome-lined cold hammer-forged barrel, with hand-fitted rails and safety. Features an aged blued finish, original wood, trench art on the front handguard, and includes a soft case and cable lock.

For sale is a Romanian MD63 AKM built from an original issued full auto military rifle. This was originally built at the Cugir factory in 1984 with an original serial number of AZ0854. This particular rifle has trench art on the upper portion of the stock, upper hand guard, and forward side of the dong.
After these rifles were imported we inspect all the parts for serviceability. We rebuild the rifles as semi auto using a high quality replica receiver from Recrator Blanks with correct markings and notches. The barrel is high quality U.S. made chrome lined cold hammer forged. The fire control group is all original with the exception of the disconnector for 922r compliance. A U.S. 30rd mag is included for 922r as well. All other parts are original. The rails and safety have all been hand fitted and tuned. The grip has a crack on the forward side which does not effect function. The rear most stock screw is not a spec screw. These parts were original to the rifle and part of it history. We used these parts as they do not effect functionality or safety to maintain the rifles history. We can replace one or both if requested with surplus parts at no charge.
The receiver and barrel were worn and blued in a multi step bluing process to match the wear of the orginal parts. All other parts retain original finish. This is not parkerized and rubbed with sand paper like most BFPU rifles for sale. The pictures don’t do the finish justice. All wood parts have been lightly cleaned to maintain original finish and treated with boiled linseed oil.
All serial numbers are matching.
The rifle has been headspace and function checked. Rifle was zeroed at 25 for a 25/200 zero. Ammo and environmental differences may require fine tuning of zero.
Rifle includes a soft case and cable lock.
