Customers and receiving FFLs should inspect firearms carefully before completing the transfer.
Once a firearm has been transferred to the purchaser by the receiving FFL, Thick Richards generally cannot accept it as a standard merchandise return.
If there appears to be a defect, shipping error, or material discrepancy, do not complete the transfer. Contact Thick Richards before accepting the firearm.
If the firearm is transferred and a manufacturer defect is discovered afterward, warranty service generally must be handled through the manufacturer.
If Thick Richards ships the wrong firearm or a firearm is materially different from the product ordered, contact us promptly and do not complete the FFL transfer.
When Thick Richards confirms that we shipped the incorrect item or materially misrepresented the product, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include return shipment, replacement when available, or refund.
A background-check denial or inability to legally complete a firearm transfer is not considered a product defect.
The firearm must be legally returned to Thick Richards before a refund can be processed.
The customer may be responsible for:
